Restaurant Café Varela
The CAFÉ VARELA, is one of the most famous and historical cafés in Madrid, dating back to the end of the XIX and XX century. Over the years some of the most distinguished and varied characters from the Madrid social scene have sat at its tables. Amongst the well-known and busy gatherings, famous writers such as Pío Baroja, the Machado brothers, León Felipe or Emilio Carrere, exchanged their thoughts.
